US-based Jack Daniel Distillery has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Tennessee Apple expression.

The charcoal-mellowed Tennessee Apple has been matured in American oak barrels and crafted using Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.

The variant is a blend of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey with finely crafted apple liqueur.

Jack Daniel master distiller Jeff Arnett said: “Mr Jack was known for being an innovator and always exploring how to do things differently, including adding different flavours and ingredients.

“Tennessee Apple couples the character of our Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey with the taste of crisp, green apples. It’s like a freshly picked apple in a glass of Jack.”

At 70-proof, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple will be offered in 50ml, 375ml, 750ml and 1l bottle formats.

A 750ml Jack Daniel’s Tennessee will be available for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $26.99.

The company is engaged in the production of a wide range of alcoholic beverage products.

Its product portfolio includes Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, as well as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select and Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails.

In May, Brown-Forman’s Jack Daniel Distillery launched Legacy Edition 2.

The Legacy Edition range offers limited-edition variations of Jack Daniel’s black label beverages used throughout the company’s more than 150-year history.

The beverage will be available for a limited time across the US, as well as in select global markets.
