Glanbia Performance Nutrition, the parent company of Optimum Nutrition (ON), has signed a distribution agreement with Kalil Bottling Company.

Under the agreement, Kalil Bottling will distribute Optimum Nutrition’s sparkling hydration drink Essential AminO Energy Plus Electrolytes in the south-western US region.

Glanbia North America immediate consumption director Jean Terminiello said: “Essential AminO Energy Plus Electrolytes has delivered impressive sales per distribution point in the US convenience channel over the past year.

“This agreement allows Kalil Bottling Company and ON to seize the enormous performance energy growth opportunity by expanding AminO Energy availability throughout the market. We are proud to work with the ‘Good Guys’ at Kalil and to join their powerful portfolio of beverage brands. It’s game on!”

The sparkling hydration drink is available in eight different flavours, offered in a combination of five grams of amino acids and electrolytes, as well as 100mg of caffeine, sourced from natural origins, such as green tea and green coffee bean extract.

Furthermore, the below five calorie drink contains zero sugar and is free from artificial colours and packaged in a sleek 12oz can.
