US-based Friends Beverage Group has launched a new line of low-alcohol, low-calorie wines.

Known as Friends Fun Wine, the new line is available in Sangria, Strawberry Moscato, Peach Moscato, Coconut Chardonnay, Cabernet Espresso, and Cappuccino Chardonnay flavours. The range is packaged in containers designed by graffiti artist Miguel Paredes.

“Known as Friends Fun Wine, the new line is available in Sangria, Strawberry Moscato, Peach Moscato, Coconut Chardonnay, Cabernet Espresso, and Cappuccino Chardonnay flavours.”

Friends Beverage Group founder and CEO Joe Peleg said: “Several years ago, we introduced Friends Fun Wine in an innovative slim can format, ultimately becoming a hot trend.

“But we were not happy to stop there, and quickly realised that there was pent-up demand for low-alcohol, low-calorie flavoured wine that was not being met.

“So we created the Fun Wine category to address the desire of millennials and females who are looking for new trends and the latest fashion in alcoholic beverages.”

The new wine drinks contain around 6% alcohol-by-volume (ABV), and 71-94 calories per serving.

The new drinks range is distributed in 330ml aluminum bottles and 750ml glass bottles.
