Fluent Beverages, a joint venture (JV) between cannabis company Tilray and global brewer Anheuser-Busch (AB) InBev, has launched its first non-alcohol cannabidiol (CBD)-infused beverage Everie in Canada.

The company claims that Everie contains 98% pure CBD-infused beverage with all-natural flavours and less than 0.05mg of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) per serving.

Fluent Beverages chief marketing officer Becky Lindsey said: “We know that consumers are concerned about products that claim to be CBD-only, but which actually have significant THC content as well; specifically, with products coming from the unregulated market.

“To build trust with consumers, we need to ensure that we are delivering what is promised, and that is what Fluent is going to do. Everie is made with CBD so pure that adult consumers can choose Everie with complete confidence and no surprises.”

Fluent partnered with High Park to produce the beverage at its cannabis manufacturing facility in London, Ontario.

From this month, Everie will be available in select Canadian provinces and offered in ready-to-brew teas in a variety of custom blends.

By early next year, Fluent intends to make available Everie sparkling beverages in the market.

Packed in a 3g biodegradable tea bag, Everie teas will be available in lavender chamomile, vanilla rooibos and peach ginger green flavours.

Furthermore, Everie sparkling beverages will be launched in a variety of fruit flavours including lemon-lime, mango-passionfruit and watermelon-dragon fruit.

Lindsey added: “We know adult Canadians are going to be faced with many new and exciting products to choose from come December 17th.

“We believe that our approach to flavour, taste, and CBD purity will make Everie the stand-out choice for those seeking to enjoy and explore CBD-infused beverages.”

The tea and sparkling beverage variants will contain 10mg of CBD per serving, noted Fluent.

Last December, AB InBev and Tilray partnered to research non-alcoholic beverages containing THC and CBD.
