British beverage company Fentimans is providing Londoners with a unique location to enjoy a twist on the drink of the summer in the form of its Secret Spritz Garden in Farringdon.

Fentimans has collaborated with cocktail expert Dino Kolestas of The Langham and Bourne and Hollingsworth to create a range of unique spritzes based around the company’s flavoured tonic waters.

At the launch night, there were eight signature spritzes on offer, two of which were non-alcoholic. The Rose Spritz was particularly delicious and refreshing; it contains Fentimans signature Rose lemonade, topped up with prosecco and garnished with fresh strawberries.

Other spritzes in selection include the English Country Cup, which mixes Pimm’s with Fentimans’ Elderflower and rose tonic, and the vibrant orange-themed Valencian Spritz.

French wine aperitif company Lillet and orange vermouth specialists Martini Fiero have also contributed a series of guest spritzes, which can be tasted at the secret garden early in the month.

Don’t worry if you are not on board with spritz, as a range of Fentimans tonics, beers, wines and spirits are also available from the bar.

The beverages can be enjoyed in a beautiful botanical garden full of plants, so juxtaposed to the cityscape that you almost forget that you are in central London.

This area will also play host to a range of activities throughout the month, including artistic workshops, cocktail and perfumery masterclasses, and on some nights, guests will be entertained by a live jazz band.

This secret pop-up will run from Wednesday to Saturday between 8th and 29th August, as well as for a few hours on Bank Holiday Sunday.

You can find out about the precise location, which is close to Farringdon tube station, only through the secret garden’s website; dates and times of all the events, as well as recipes for the spritzes, are also available there.
