US-based dairy brand fairlife has launched new ultra-filtered cow’s milk product fairlife DHA Whole Milk.

Packed in 52oz bottles, the new milk product is an addition to the brand’s portfolio of 2% ultra-filtered milk with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

fairlife co-founder and dairy farmer Sue McCloskey said: “As a dairy company rooted in innovation, fairlife is dedicated to consistently launching great-tasting products that provide essential nutrients and vitamins.

“Our new ultra-filtered whole milk option offers 125mg of DHA Omega-3 fatty acids in each serving.”

“And, as a mother and grandmother of triplets, I understand the health benefits derived from good nutrition and I want nothing more for my family.

“Scientists have linked these fatty acids to a variety of health benefits throughout life, including brain health and healthy ageing. I’m thrilled to say that our new ultra-filtered whole milk option offers 125mg of DHA Omega-3 fatty acids in each serving. That’s more than triple the amount found in other DHA milks.”

The milk is also claimed to contain 13g of protein and 35% of the daily recommended adult calcium intake per serving. It is filtered using a cold-filtration process to remove lactose and sugars to enhance its natural proteins and vitamins.

Priced at $4.49, the new fairlife DHA Whole Milk is currently available in retail and grocery stores across the US.

Established in 2012 by Select Milk Producers, the Chicago-based milk brand produces and markets milk beverages.

Sourced from its Fair Oaks Farms, fairlife’s milk product portfolio includes fairlife ultra-filtered milk, Core Power, fairlife DHA and fairlife YUP!.
