Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits has signed new business agreements to represent the brands of Deutsch Family Wine and Spirits and Heineken International in Canada.

Under the three-year agreement, the Canadian company will represent brands of Deutsch Family Wine, including Spirits Josh Wines brand.

Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits international sales vice-president Dana Ryall said: “Josh is now one of the leading California wine brands in Canada thanks to the efforts of everyone at Trajectory Beverage Partners.

“Our results in the Canadian market over the last three years have been exceptional. Their unfailing commitment, spirit of partnership and adaptability have all combined to help make Josh Cellars a category leader within the California wine segment in Canada and I look forward to our continued success in the Canadian market.”

The Canadian firm has been representing the Deutsch portfolio for the past few years through its Agency division, Trajectory Beverage Partners

Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits president and CEO Murray Souter said: “We are proud to represent Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits and very pleased that our success with Josh and other brands in the portfolio has been recognized and we look forward to another three years of growth and mutual success.”

Under the contract, Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits will be representing a number of the Heineken International brands including Tiger Beer from Singapore, Red Stripe and Dragon Stout from Jamaica and Austrian beers – Gosser and Kaiser.

Diamond Estates Wines and Spirits has been producing wines and is also serving as the sales agent for more than 120 beverage alcohol brands across Canada.

It operates two wineries located in Ontario and British Columbia.
