Coca-Cola Amatil intends to raise A$50m ($38.2m) through a public offering of senior notes due 2028.

The notes will pay a semi-annual coupon rate of 4.155% a year until they mature on 1 June 2028.

Based in Australia, Coca-Cola Amatil is a supplier of non-alcoholic and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages.

HeatGenie has raised $6m through a venture funding round led by ARTIS Labs.

The funding round also involved the participation of other investors, including Almanac Investments.

The firm will use the funds for product development and commercialisation, as well as to help other RTD beverage brands enter the market.

Oakfield Capital Partners has made an investment of £3.5m ($4.67m) in Freedom Brewery.

Oakfield Capital is a private equity firm, while Freedom Brewery is a beer producer. Both the companies are based in the UK.

Freedom Brewery will use the investment to improve its new senior sales and marketing teams.

Nestle has entered an agreement with ConAgra Brands to acquire Trenton manufacturing assets in Missouri, US.

The assets will also include the manufacturing plant and cooked-before-canning (CBC) production line.

Under the agreement, Nestle will manufacture country sausage gravy, corned beef hash, chilli con carne and golden cheese sauce for Conagra Brands.

Based in Switzerland, Nestle is a food and beverage company, while ConAgra Brands is a packaged foods firm based in the US.

The transaction will enable Nestle to execute manufacturing for its foodservice brand Chef-mate.

ABB has invested in Stellapps Technologies through its venture capital unit, ABB Technology Ventures (ATV).

The investment was made as part of the Series B investment round led by IndusAge Partners in partnership with new investors Qualcomm Ventures and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Founded in 2011, Stellapps Technologies is an end-to-end dairy supply chain solutions provider based in India.

SmartMoo is one of the Stellapps solutions covering the entire value chain from milk production to paying farmers. It also tracks animal’s health and yield through a wearable sensor, as well as measures milk quantity, storage conditions, transportation and distribution.

Stellapps has separately initiated a strategic collaboration with ABB to simplify the dairy supply chain.

Vineyard Point Associates has made an investment of $6m in Trimino Brands Company.

Vineyard Point is an investment company, while Trimino Brands is a functional beverages manufacturer. Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.

The firm plans to use the funds for inventory management, employing sales staff, and to improve marketing techniques. it will also help strengthen its partnership with Savage Race by allowing the company to offer product placement tie-ins in upcoming feature films.

James Clay has completed the acquisition of Beer Direct for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1991, Beer Direct supplies a range of beers, ciders and jenevers to a range of trade sites.

Following the transaction, James Clay will handle Beer Direct’s operations and increase its product offerings.

The acquisition enables James Clay to expand its presence in the Midlands, UK.

The Carlyle Group has acquired Accolade Wines for A$1bn ($772m).

Based in the US, The Carlyle Group is a global asset management company, while Accolade Wines owns 50 brands and markets its products in approximately 140 countries.

The acquisition enables Accolade Wines to expand its operations in Asia.
