Hop Stuff Brewery has raised £0.4m ($0.56m) from Crowdcube Capital through a venture financing round.

Based in the UK, Hop Stuff Brewery is engaged in the production and supply of beer.

The company will use the proceeds to expand its taprooms network.

Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan has partnered with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co to produce a fruity, hoppy wheat beer called Braupakt.

Weihenstephan is based in Germany, while Sierra Nevada is a US-based craft brewery operator.

The collaboration will enable the launch of Braupakt in March 2018.

SIG Combibloc Group (SIG) has agreed with Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) to form a joint venture (JV) named DNP-SIG Combibloc to establish a new carton packaging firm in Japan.

Based in Switzerland, SIG provides carton packaging and filling machines to food and beverage producers.

Each company will hold 50% interest in the JV, which will be formed on 1 April 2018.

Innis & Gunn has collaborated with Tullamore DEW to release new stout Kindred Spirits.

Based in Scotland, Innis & Gunn is a craft brewer.

The triple distilled Kindred Spirits has an alcohol-by-volume (ABV) content of 6.1% and is made from a blend of Innis & Gunn’s flavoured beer.

Flavours include dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and oak.

The new drink will be available in markets across the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Sweden, France, Australia, South Africa, Denmark, Finland and Singapore.
