Diageo’s Canadian whiskey brand Crown Royal has released a limited-edition bottle of Crown Royal Texas Mesquite.

The new beverage combines the smoky flavour of Texas mesquite wood with the signature smoothness of Crown Royal De Luxe.

Crown Royal brand director Nicola Heckles said: “Texas continues to be a special place for Crown Royal, so it was fitting to create a variant that harnesses the loyalty of all those fans.

Crown Royal Texas Mesquite is offered in a signature box and features red, white and blue packaging.

With 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), Crown Royal Texas Mesquite is currently available in Texas and other select states, including California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada and Tennessee.

The limited-edition bottle will be released this month at a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 750ml bottle.

Diageo has a wide collection of brands, including Johnnie Walker, Bulleit and Buchanan’s whiskies, Smirnoff, Cîroc and Ketel One vodkas, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray and Guinness.
