Conagra Brands’ Swiss Miss has launched a line of beverages combining cocoa and coffee flavours.

Made using high-quality imported cocoa and espresso coffee, the new Swiss Miss Café Blends brand features Caramel Macchiato and Mocha. These variants are available in packages of six pre-portioned servings.

Conagra Sweet Treats senior brand manager Erik Sword said: “We’re happy to introduce a new Swiss Miss cocoa that provides the perfect way to get through the afternoon slump.

“We know people are looking for an afternoon pick-me-up and cocoa is a key part of afternoon snacking. With Swiss Miss Café Blends, we now offer a hot cocoa option that provides a boost without too much caffeine.”

Featuring 8oz of brewed coffee, Cafe Blends are claimed to be free from artificial sweeteners, flavours, preservatives and colours.

Swiss Miss Café Blends is now available in retail outlets with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $3.99 for a package of six envelopes.

For more than 50 years, Swiss Miss has been creating its signature blend of hot cocoa in Menomonie, Wisconsin, US. It offers hot cocoa flavours such as Classics, Simply Cocoa, Sensible Sweets, the Indulgent Collection and Swiss Miss pudding varieties.

Last month, Conagra Brands sold its frozen pasta business Gelit to an Italian investment company. The investment firm is owned by a consortium of financiers, including Consilum SGR, Progressio SGR and MMM, whose reference shareholder is Massimo Menna.
