Coca-Cola India has entered the enhanced hydration and nutritious dilutables category by launching Aquarius Glucocharge and Minute Maid Vitingo.

With the new launch, the company intends to provide a wide range of beverage choices to its consumers.

Packed with glucose, essential minerals (potassium, sodium, calcium) and fruit juice, Aquarius Glucocharge is a non-carbonated, low-sugar beverage that has been developed by the company for its Indian customers.

A 200ml serving of the new drink will be available for Rs10 ($0.15).

“These enhanced and nutritious beverage options have been developed specifically for the Indian consumers to suit their needs of enhanced and nutritious hydration.”

On the other hand, Minute Maid Vitingo is a formulated product, which is available in single serving dilutable sachets that contain a formulation of Iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc, Folic Acid, Vitamin B2 and Vitamin B12.

The product has been developed by the company to address the micronutrient deficiency and malnutrition in India.

Minute Maid Vitingo is available in 18g single-serving dilutable sachets priced Rs5 ($0.075).

Coca-Cola India and South West Asia president Krishnakumar said: “In time for the peak summer, the launch of Aquarius Glucocharge and Minute Maid Vitingo marks our entry into the space of rehydrate, replenish and recharge.

“These enhanced and nutritious beverage options have been developed specifically for the Indian consumers to suit their needs of enhanced and nutritious hydration.”

The launch of two products in the Indian market is said to be part of the company’s strategic extension of its portfolio.
