Armagnac brand Chabot has released a new expression called Chabot Armagnac VS.

The company has also expanded its international footprint by securing a listing with Gebr Heinemann in Sydney Airport.

Already available in more than 100 countries, Chabot will launch in Sydney through Heinemann in September.

The company said its new expression Chabot VS has been matured for a minimum period of two years and offers a balanced flavour, dominated by fresh fruits with notes of plum and apple on the nose.

Chabot Armagnac president Kathleen Gentzbourger said: “We are very excited about the future and our plans to build and develop our presence within the travel retail and global market.

“Chabot has been in duty free for many years and we are already a global brand but we are not satisfied yet. We have great relationships with our retailer partners and as they expand their networks, we are looking to develop our presence too, introducing the Chabot name to more shoppers and nationalities across the globe.”

With 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), Chabot VS is available in 75cl bottles and will be on show at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

Additionally, Chabot VS is also the youngest blended Armagnac available on the market.

To support the launch, the company has also unveiled numerous ‘high-profile promotions and campaigns’ and also invested in recruiting more ambassadors to build awareness of the brand.
