Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has partnered with three start-up companies in Australia to use their ideas for improving delivery efficiency and consumer experience.

Hospitality platform Bellr, crowdsourcing software Snooper and machine learning technology developer Staybil were part of the second phase of CCA’s Xcelerate programme.

Created in collaboration with technology firm BlueChilli, Xcelerate is part of CCA’s corporate venturing platform Amatil X to find new ideas to support its businesses.

Bellr helps venues and brands attract and retain customers through venue promotions and tailored loyalty programmes, while Snooper provides a crowdsourcing platform for brands and retailers.

“The programme gives us the opportunity to test ourselves on how we engage with the start-up community to quickly test new solutions.”

Staybil drives operational efficiency by using the combined power of machine learning and enhanced modern mobility.

CCA’s partners and growth group director Chris Sullivan said: “Xcelerate is a great opportunity for us to support the start-up and scale-up sectors and help grow Australia and New Zealand’s community of ideas.

“We look for the best and brightest new talent in the areas of sustainable futures, customer experience and route-to-market.

“Working with Bellr, Snooper and Staybil offer them the chance to pilot products and services in conjunction with an established business. And it gives us the opportunity to test ourselves on how we engage with the start-up community to quickly test new solutions.”

Under the Xcelerate programme, the companies will receive access to a commercial partnership, mentoring as well as CCA’s new Small Supplier Payment Policy.
