US-based beer brewing company Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) has completed its acquisition of North Carolina-based Appalachian Mountain Brewery (AMB).

With the completion of the deal, CBA will take over the AMB brand, brewery, brewpub, and its cidery.

Financial details of the acquisition have not been divulged by both the companies.

CBA CEO Andy Thomas said: “Today marks an exciting day for our exceptional AMB team as they officially join the CBA family.

“Since announcing our plans to bring AMB fully into the fold last month, our combined teams have been working closely together in anticipation of this transition.”

The deal represents the final phase in CBA’s three partner acquisitions, which was announced in October.

“Both companies will continue with ongoing integration efforts, which are facilitated by the strong existing relationship.”

“With this final step, both companies will continue with ongoing integration efforts, which are facilitated by the strong existing relationship,” CBA said in a statement.

CBA added that it will continue to invest in the local community through ongoing support of the We Can So You Can Foundation and other nonprofits.

The two companies have been working together since 2015 when AMB entered a strategic partnership to leverage CBA’s brewing capacity, marketing resources, and distribution network to drive growth.

Established in 2008 in Portland, Oregon, CBA operates breweries and brewpubs across the US. Its beers are available in the US and across 30 countries.
