Casa Noble has expanded its tequila portfolio with the addition of Casa Noble Selección del Fundador Volume II.

Aged for eight years in Taransaud 114l French white oak barrels, the new beverage is said to be triple distilled with added añejo.

Casa Noble has released 300 bottles of the limited edition tequila variant, which is claimed to be a certified organic and produced using blue weber agave plants.

Casa Noble founder Jose Hermosillo said:  “My desire is to take tequila to the next level, to see what it can be.

“Selección del Fundador Volume II is an exquisite spirit showcasing our philosophy that making exceptional tequila is truly a noble pursuit. This tequila has been 20 years in the making, I hope people can enjoy sharing this treasured creation with us.”

Produced in small batches, Selección del Fundador Volume II is claimed to offer aromas of cooked agave layered with chocolate, butter, vanilla which gives way to subtle notes of dried fruit, sweet flowers, and cinnamon to enhance the experience.

It is available in the US market for a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $1,499.
