UK-based distillery Burleighs Gin has announced the launch of its new Poppy Gin in partnership with the Royal British Legion.

The Royal British Legion is the UK’s largest Armed Forces charity, with 235,000 members and 110,000 volunteers.

Burleighs Gin claims that each and every single bottle of the Poppy Gin is hand-crafted and distilled in a copper pot still.

Due to the still design and carefully source ingredients, the new gin is smooth, which according to the company can be consumed as a classic gin and tonic.

Poppy Gin is said to be a truly British gin created with a recipe containing silver birch, dandelion, burdock, as well as elderberry and packaged in a bottle with a unique design with cascading poppies.

It offers citrus tones and contains poppy seeds that have been perfectly balanced and pay homage to the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal.

The British distillery noted that the proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Legion to support UK’s Armed Forces community.

Burleighs new collaboration with Royal British Legion is the latest in its collective of partnerships that include Leicester City FC, the King Richard III foundation and the Marilyn Monroe estate.
