UK-based alcoholic beverage maker Diageo has released Buchanan’s Select 15-Year-Old Blended Malt Scotch whisky.

The new release will be a permanent addition to the Buchanan brand’s portfolio.

With 40% alcohol-by-volume (ABV), Buchanan’s Select 15-Year-Old Blended Malt Scotch comprises a blend of fine single malt Scotch whiskies that have been matured for 15 years.

Diageo Master Blender Craig Wallace said: “Buchanan’s Select offers a combination of only fine single malts with great character and balance at the beginning, and evolves over caramelised notes to end in a persistent finish, marked by notes of toasted oak, initial aromas of caramel, walnut, light notes of apple and ripe pear.

Buchanan’s Select 15-Year-Old Blended Malt Scotch whiskey will be available across the US for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $49.99 for a 750ml bottle.

In addition to Buchanan’s Select 15-Year-Old Scotch whsikey, the Buchanan portfolio includes Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe, Buchanan’s Master, Buchanan’s 18-Year-Old Special Reserve, and Buchanan’s Red Seal.
