Brothers & Sisters has launched a new range of kombucha to meet growing demand in Poland.

Kombucha is a fermented tea that contains natural probiotics, enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and organic acids. This slightly carbonated beverage is produced by brewing high-quality Sencha Grade 1 organic green tea with organic cane sugar, yeast cultures and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY).

The drink is fermented for a few weeks until almost all of the sugar and tea compounds are digested by the bacteria and yeasts. The end product is said to contain very little sugar and calories, as well as a low pH.

“Kombucha is a fermented tea that contains natural probiotics, enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins and organic acids.”

Brothers & Sisters’ kombucha will be available in Classic Sencha, Ginger and Lemongrass, and Kefir variants.

Each option contains live bacterial cultures claimed to be responsible for good digestive health.

Probiotics are said to support the digestive and immune systems, as well as produce vitamins such as K and B12.

Kombucha has been around for thousands of years, but has gained popularity over the last ten years due to its health claims.

In order to protect the beverage from the ultraviolet (UV) rays, the drink has been packaged in amber glass.
