UK-based Bohem Brewery has launched four Czech-style canned lagers.

The new Amos Czech Pilsner, Sparta Amber Lager, Druid Black Lager and Vasco Double India Pale Lager products will be retailed by Bohem Brewery’s new distribution partner, The BottleShop.

With 4.9% alcohol-by-volume (ABV) Amos Czech Pilsner offers floral and citrus flavours, including lemon and honey. The 5.4% ABV Sparta Amber Lager is made from bitter and spicy hops, which complement the honey and orange marmalade flavours.

“We’re delighted that four of our authentic lagers are making the leap from kegs to cans, bringing them to an even wider range of craft beer aficionados.”

With 5.7% ABV, Druid Black Lager is a multi-faceted, smooth black lager with an earthy, hoppy smell, while Vasco Double India Pale Lager contains 7.4% ABV.

Bohem Brewery’s CEO Zdenek Kudr said: “We’re delighted that four of our authentic lagers are making the leap from kegs to cans, bringing them to an even wider range of craft beer aficionados.

“At the same time, we’re launching the Lager Manifesto to ensure that consumers appreciate the point of difference that authentic lager brewing delivers across our full range of beers in the keg and can.

“There are now more beers than ever on the market that call themselves lagers, but our commitment to brewing in the authentic Czech style delivers the genuine article.”

The four new lagers will be released in 440ml cans in The BottleShop’s outlets, as well as at independent bars and retailers for a recommended retail price (RRP) ranging from £3.75 to £5.55.

The company will offer all of the new beers in a four-pack for an RRP of £16.
