Coca-Cola Amatil’s Mount Franklin brand has launched a new Australian spring water range for children.

The company claims that the products contain natural flavourings and are free from sugar, sweeteners and preservatives.

Packaged in a 250ml bottle, the new Mount Franklin Kids range will be available in pineapple, apple and lemon & lime flavours.

Coca-Cola Amatil strategy and marketing director Gaelle Boutellier said: “Parents are clear they want great tasting flavours without sugar, sweeteners and preservatives to help increase kids’ water consumption, Mount Franklin Kids delivers on this opportunity in time for summer and in a perfect kid-sized 250ml bottle with a convenient pop-top cap.

“Parents are clear they want great tasting flavours without sugar, sweeteners and preservatives.”

“All Mount Franklin bottles are recyclable. We encourage Aussies to recycle their bottles, so they can have another life by taking it to a container deposit collection point, placing it in the home curb-side recycle bin or in clearly marked public recycling bins.”

Mount Franklin Kids’ pop-top cap was developed at Coca-Cola Amatil’s Eastern Creek facility. Both bottle and closure are claimed to be 100% recyclable.

Mount Franklin Kids is now available across Australia for a recommended retail price (RRP) of $2.30.

Last December, Coca-Cola Amatil further expanded its bottled water brand Pump in Australia with the launch of new Pump+ natural electrolytes. The new product features a combination of spring water, electrolytes from coconut water, and natural lime flavouring.
