US-based chain of pretzel shops Auntie Anne’s is set to launch its Candy Lemonade Mixers across the US.

The new beverage features flavoured lemonade topped with Sour Patch Kids or Swedish Fish soft and chewy candies.

The company claims that each sip gives candy lemonade mixers tastes like its candy namesake.

Auntie Anne’s president Heather Neary said: “How do you top Auntie Anne’s famous lemonade? With candy, of course.

“Our new Candy Lemonade Mixers are unlike any drink you’ve ever tasted. You have to try both of these fun, bright, and perfectly Instagrammable summer beverages.”

The company noted that for a sweet and tangy flavour explosion, consumers can just sip the Candy Lemonade Mixer and take a Sour Patch Kid or Swedish Fish from the cup’s separate top.

Candy Lemonade Mixers will be offered in retail outlets across the US until 12 August this year.

The company suggests consumers mix its Candy Lemonade Mixer with its signature pretzels.

Auntie Anne’s has more than 1,700 locations in 48 states and more than 25 countries.

It can be found in malls and outlet centres, as well as in non-traditional spaces including universities, airports, travel plazas, military bases, and food trucks.
