Craft spirits manufacturer Eastside Distilling has announced that all Safeway and Albertsons supermarkets in Washington will now stock Redneck Riviera Whiskey.

Eastside Distilling’s national accounts vice-president Robert Manfredonia said: “We are pleased to have Redneck Riviera Whiskey added to the product lineup at Albertsons and Safeway.

“They are a significant player in the grocery business in the Western US and the Midwest. We are excited to be working with both of these leading supermarket chains.”

Redneck Riviera Whiskey is a small batch whiskey with vanilla honey flavours. It is crafted by an innovative distilling team that includes Travis Schoney and Mel Heim at Eastside Distilling. The team developed the whiskey with input from John Rich.

In addition to Washington, Redneck Riviera Whiskey is now distributed in states such as Texas, California, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, and North Carolina, as well as North Dakota, Oregon, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kentucky.

The beverage is also sold in Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Alaska, Illinois and Michigan

Launched in 2014, Redneck Riviera Whiskey is jointly owned by Eastside Distilling and John Rich, a multi-platinum country-music artist. Eastside Distilling has produced craft spirits in Portland, Oregon, since 2008.

Redneck Riviera Whiskey’s product lineup includes Burnside Bourbon, West End American Whiskey, Goose Hollow Reserve, Below Deck Rums, Portland Potato Vodka, Hue-Hue Coffee Rum and fruit-infused spirits.

North American retail chain Albertsons and its subsidiary Safeway operate nearly 200 supermarkets in Washington.
