Alcohol manufacturer and distributor Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has launched its tequila brand, KAH Tequila, in Canada.

It partnered with North American private beverage company Mark Anthony Group.

Founded in 1972, Mark Anthony Group is allegedly one of North America’s diversified beverage companies focused on the alcohol beverage sector.

Its Canadian distribution arm Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits is engaged in brand building activities in the region for the group’s partners.

Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits president Scott Walton said: “We continue to see accelerated growth in the tequila category and are excited that KAH is launching in the Canadian market.

“At Mark Anthony, we are proven brand builders; dynamic, distinctive and innovative in our approach to launching and building brands.

“We are pleased to partner with KAH and introduce this great brand to Canadian consumers.”

KAH Tequila is produced by ABG owned firm Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, which is in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico.

ABG claims that its KAH Tequila is produced using hand-selected 100% Blue Agave.

KAH Tequila is offered in three different expressions namely Blanco, Reposado and Añejo.

KAH Tequila global brand director Evija Sparāne said: “This extraordinary brand is highly-regarded all around the world and we are thrilled to be launching it in Canada.

“We believe that the energy, knowledge and passion for premium beverages that the Mark Anthony Group puts behind their work will be the key to unlocking our growth in this major market.”

In June, ABG appointed California’s Pacific Edge Wine & Spirits as its importer for KAH Tequila in the US.
