A88 Infused and ANP sign co-packing agreement

Alkaline Water Company’s subsidiary A88 Infused’s beverage division has entered a co-packing agreement with American Nutritional Products (ANP).

Under the agreement, ANP will be involved in manufacturing, formulation, research and development (R&D), biomass and extraction activities.

The Alkaline Water Company’s president Richard Wright said: “The ANP facility is a one-stop shop, fully vertically integrated facility that allows for manufacturing, research, extraction and formulation on-site.

“ANP has the necessary expertise and knowledge of cannabinol (CBD), nutraceuticals and infused/enhanced beverages to ensure a successful launch of our new product lines.

“With more and more major companies, including Coke and Constellation Brand entering the CBD market in a significant way, our speed to market with Alkaline88 as the base water will give us a chance to be one of the first to market in the US and Canadian markets.”

A88 Infused is expected to bring several functional new products to market by December this year.

Located in Carson City, Nevada, the 55,000ft² manufacturing facility has received certification from the International Center for Cannabis Therapy (CCTI), good manufacturing practices (GMP), the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and is registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Wright further added: “A88 Infused has also entered into a licensing and marketing agreement with our parent company, The Alkaline Water Company.

“This agreement will allow for all of the new products to use Alkaline88 water, technologies and marketing, which will also accelerate our market penetration significantly.”

The Alkaline Water Company claims that its proprietary electrolysis process has the ability to produce healthy alkaline water for a balanced lifestyle.

The company currently packages and sells its alkaline water in 1gal, 3l, 1.5l, 1l, 700ml and 500ml sizes and is available in most major grocery stores across the US.
