7-Eleven has expanded its organic cold-pressed juice portfolio with the launch of three new single juice varieties.

Available in pomegranate, melon and blackberry flavours, the new beverage will be available in 11.2oz glass bottles. They will be sold for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $2.99 for a limited time period.

Each bottle of cold-pressed pomegranate juice is produced using 2.5g of organic pink pomegranates, while the blackberry variety contains 165 dewberry blackberries per bottle.

“Pomegranate juice has seen significant growth as a premium juice in the US because of its high levels of anti-oxidants.”

The honeydew melon variety is said to be a good source of vitamins A, B and C.

7-Eleven private brand beverages senior product development manager Dion Miliaresis said: “Today’s juice customers continue to look for more premium options.

“Each of the three new juices will be sourced from a single organic fruit – pomegranate, blackberry or melon. Pomegranate juice, specifically, has seen significant growth as a premium juice in the US because of its high levels of anti-oxidants and other nutrients.

“Both blackberry and melon juices are great-tasting and found at very few other retailers. They’re a great addition for our customers and their growing need for healthier options.”

In January last year, the company expanded its 7-Select GO!Smart line with the addition of new organic, cold-pressed juices with Clean & Green, Tropical Glow, Berry & Bright and Restoration Red varieties.
