US-based hydration drinks brand Zola is launching a new range of Organic Sparkling Energy Water, which contains plant-powered antioxidants.

The brand’s new sugar-free beverages come in a 12oz can, contain ten calories and are said to have the same caffeine content as 1.5 espresso shots since they contain 100mg of caffeine from green coffee, green tea and yerba mate extracts.

The flavoured drink also contains plant-based antioxidants which are a good source of vitamins C and E.

The Organic Sparkling Energy Water will be available in four flavours, Pink Grapefruit, Blackberry Cucumber, Blood Orange and Lemon Lime, from this June.

“We are proud of our Organic Sparkling Energy Waters that deliver the refreshment, energy and focus you need.”

Zola founder and CEO Chris Cuvelier said: “We are proud of our Organic Sparkling Energy Waters that deliver the refreshment, energy and focus you need to crush your day.

“With no added sugar, and only ten calories, these delicious drinks are sure to unlock your inspiration from within.”

Zola has transitioned to using vegan and gluten-free ingredients across its product line-up, which includes Natural Coconut Water, Oganic Açaí Juices and Organic Hydrating Energy Drinks.

It also claims its products are non-GMO project verified.

Zola chief growth officer and marketing general manager Pete Brennan said: “Our new Oganic Sparkling Energy Water line and our entire Non-GMO project verified Plant-Powered Hydration portfolio are supported by our ‘Live Zola’ integrated marketing campaign.”
