Ready-to-drink tea manufacturer Long Island Iced Tea has partnered with Vaquería Tres Monjitas to distribute its beverages in Puerto Rico.

Long Island Iced Tea chief executive officer Philip Thomas said: “Tres Monjitas has a long history of being one of the premier beverage distributors in Puerto Rico.

"Expanding into Puerto Rico is a natural progression in our global outlook, and compliments distribution positions we have already established in Canada and Korea.”

Vaquería Tres Monjitas sales director Luis Defendini said: “This partnership combines the power of a high-quality, well-known product as is Long Island Iced Tea with a service tradition and market knowledge of almost 100 years brought in by Tres Monjitas.”

With this deal, Long Island Iced Tea will be available in Puerto Rico in 20oz and gallon-bottles.

The drinks are available in a wide range of flavours, including lemon, raspberry and diet peach.
