V2 Wine Group and Wine by Joe (WBJ) have entered into a sales and marketing agreement, which will be in effect from 1 January.

Under the terms of the agreement, V2 Wine Group will handle the sales and marketing services, as well as the distribution network of WBJ wine products across the US.

WBJ includes brands such as Wine By Joe, Dobbes Family Estate and Jovino, which are crafted in wineries at Dundee, Oregon, with grapes extracted from select vineyards in Willamette and Rogue Valley.

"Partnering with Joe and his family on their super-premium portfolio is a real honour."

V2 Wine Group president Dan Leese said: "Partnering with Joe and his family on their super-premium portfolio is a real honour.

"They have built terrific brands in both the Wine by Joe and Dobbes Family Estate wines and Oregon has become a very important wine region of the world.

"They fill an important and exciting spot in our portfolio of world-class brands and we couldn't be more pleased."

Wine by Joe founder, president and winemaker Joe Dobbes said: "We are very enthused to be working with Dan and Katy Leese and the V2 Wine Group to bring our wines to the next level.

"Their portfolio is an excellent fit for our Oregon brands and offers unparalleled opportunity to solidify our position within the 3-tier distribution system."

V2 Wine Group represents eight wine families in the North American region, including WBJ.

The firm produces its own wines, in addition to having sales and marketing agreements with family-owned wineries such as Bouchaine Vineyards, Coeur Clémentine, Wines, Dry Creek Vineyard, La Follette Wines, Lucinda & Millie Vineyards, Merryvale Family of Wines, Morandé, and Vindicated Wines.
