Juice powder concentrates manufacturer The Juice Plus+ Company has launched a plant-based blend of oils containing omega 3, 5, 6, and 7, as well as 9 fatty acids.

The new Juice Plus+ Omega Blend is said to contain docosahexaenoic (DHA), eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and alpha-lipoic (ALA) omega fatty acids extracted from original algae sources instead of fish sources.

The Juice Plus+ Company product innovation director Liza Pepple said: “Just as most people do not consume enough fruits and vegetables daily, they may also be lacking adequate amounts of high-quality omega fatty acids.

“We strive to provide whole food based nutritional products that help consumers bridge the gaps in their diet.”

“We strive to provide whole food based nutritional products that help consumers bridge the gaps in their diet and we responded to the needs of our customers with a full spectrum omega product that complements our Orchard, Garden, and Vineyard blends.”

In addition, the Omega Blend is said to be curated by cold-pressed oils from five seeds and berries, including pomegranate seeds, sea buckthorn berries, raspberry seeds, tomato seeds, and safflower seeds.

The company noted that the product is encapsulated in a tapioca-based capsule, which is fused together to ensure protection against nutrient degradation.
