India-based non-alcoholic beverages company Tata Global Beverages is geared up to expand the presence of Tata Water Plus throughout the country.

NourishCo, the 50:50 joint venture (JV) between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo, manufactures the nutrient water brand Tata Water Plus, which is available in the Indian states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat at present.

According to the company, it is packed in several varieties including 1l, 500ml bottle and 200ml pouch formats.

Tata Water Plus contains nutrients such as copper and zinc and looks and tastes like normal water. One litre of the product is said to meet 40% RDA for copper and 30% for zinc.

The brand has been developed in collaboration with international scientists and Indian nutrition experts by Tata Global Beverages, and has been created using leading edge ingredients and process.

The JV also manufactures Tata Gluco Plus and Himalayan Natural Mineral Water, in addition to Tata Water Plus.

Tata Global Beverages CEO and MD Ajoy Misra said, "The company has built an expansive pipeline of innovations that will be used to fuel growth and create newer hydration solutions."

Tata Global Beverages produces, distributes, and sells tea, coffee, and water across the world.
