Stubborn Soda, a brand of PepsiCo, has launched its new line of sodas in five flavour combinations in the US.

The flavours include black cherry with tarragon, orange-hibiscus, agave vanilla cream soda, classic root beer, and lemon berry açaí.

Stubborn Soda marketing director Megan Gagnon said: “Stubborn Soda is the next generation of carbonated soft drinks. We gave it that name because we don’t compromise on our ingredients, flavours or the way the product is experienced.

"We gave it that name because we don’t compromise on our ingredients, flavours or the way the product is experienced."

“We use only quality ingredients and flavours, and we’ve worked hard to create the ultimate experience, from the way the beverage is poured to the perfect finishing garnish, to bring fans a product they’re proud to drink and share.”

The brand claimed that each bottle of Stubborn Soda contains between 90 and 100 calories, and is produced using Fairtrade cane sugar and stevia.

It also added that its drinks are made using natural flavours and are free from high-fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.

Stubborn Soda is available across all major retailers in the US.

PepsiCo's product portfolio includes a wide range of foods and beverages, including 22 brands that generate over $1bn each in estimated annual retail sales.
