US-based company Soylent has expanded its caffeinated beverages line by launching two new ready-to-drink products, namely Cafe Vanilla and Cafe Chai.

The new drinks can be purchased through the company’s website and will also be available on Amazon.com at a later date.

Soylent founder and CEO Rob Rhinehart said: "Getting a good breakfast is a pain point for many people.

“With Coffiest, we made it easy for our customers to start the day right. Now we've improved the variety of our enhanced beverages with new flavours."

The company claims that both Cafe Vanilla and Cafe Chai contain vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, and protein that the body needs.

Cafe Vanilla features an essence of roasted coffee with just a hint of vanilla, and Cafe Chai contains a blend of aromatic spices.

All flavours in the new Cafe line continue to combine caffeine with the relaxing benefits of L-theanine to promote increased cognitive performance.

Each bottle consists of 20% of the daily recommended values for all essential vitamins and minerals.

The bottle also includes a macronutrient profile of 47% calories from lipids, 33% calories from carbohydrates and 20% calories from protein.

Cafe Vanilla contains 150mg of caffeine and 75mg of L-Theanine, while Cafe Chai has 30mg of caffeine and 25mg of L-Theanine.
