Unilever’s brand Pure Leaf has launched new tea products Pure Matcha and Matcha with Ginger.

Claimed to be sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified tea estates in Kagoshima, the new products will be available in pre-portioned, individually wrapped sachets.

Pure Leaf Matcha has been produced using quality tea leaves that were shade-grown, plucked, dried, and ground for a full-bodied, smooth taste.

Matcha with Ginger is said to have been produced using herbs and spices, which were blended with fine Matcha powder.

“The new products will be available in pre-portioned, individually wrapped sachets.”

Both variants will join the full range of Pure Leaf home brewed teas, available in ten hot, iced, bagged, and loose-leaf varieties.

Unilever Tea director George Hamilton said: “As more Americans choose to make tea part of their daily routines, they are looking for an authentic home brewed tea experience at an accessible price.

“Both uncompromised and uncomplicated, the new Pure Leaf home brewed Matcha Teas allow for consumers to enjoy high-quality Matcha at home in just a few simple steps.”

The new Home Brewed Matcha teas will be available across grocery, mass-market retailers, and select club stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $8.49.
