Niagara Bottling, a US-based private label bottled water supplying company, has plans to invest $95m on a new facility in Virginia.

The new 450,000f2 facility will be constructed at Meadowville Technology Park in Chesterfield County.

The first phase of the facility will lead to creation of 76 jobs while another 50 jobs will be added in the second phase.

Niagara executive vice-president of operation Brian Hess was quoted by foodbev.com as saying: “Niagara Bottling LLC is committed to providing a high-quality product with unmatched quality service to its customers.

“The Chesterfield, Va, location allows the company to fulfill that commitment by providing an optimal location that is close to both its existing and growing customer market.”

Niagara Bottling supplies private label bottled water to major retailers in the country.

Established in 1969, Niagara Bottling started as a family business, initially offering five-gallon water containers for houses and offices.

The company is headquartered in Ontario city of California.
