New Age Beverages introduces e-commerce division

US-based manufacturer New Age Beverages has launched its new e-commerce division to facilitate a new distribution channel.

With the launch of the new channel, New Age Beverages customers will be able to purchase organic beverages online and receive home delivery.

New Age's direct delivery concept complements their strategy of expanding their retail business in the traditional convenience and grocery sectors, as well as provides consumer access to the New Age portfolio worldwide where the company does not yet have distribution.

"We expect to rank and become a leading home delivery beverage destination of choice.”

The new division is expected to create a significant impact on the company's financial performance over the next 12 months.

New Age's e-commerce group head Julia Schroeder said: "We knew that some of our competitors had attained more than 30% of their revenue from e-commerce, so this was an easy benchmark for us to establish as our target over the next 12 months.

“We know it is achievable, as we have the advantages of a full portfolio of on-trend, healthy beverages, unlike other single product companies.

"Coupled with the benefit of our size and public company reach, and our expertise to develop a best-in-class scalable platform, we expect to rank and become a leading home delivery beverage destination of choice.”

The e-commerce division will feature all of New Age's top-selling products, including Xing, Aspen Pure, Búcha Live Kombucha, Marley and Coco-Libre.

The company is planning to add its new brands such as Marley Mate, PediaAde at a later stage.
