Pioneer Food Group has acquired Streamfoods Holdings, a fruit snacks supplier based in the UK. Streamfoods, which is wholly-owned by Wellness Group of companies, supplies fruit snacks under its Fruit Bowl brand.

Based in South Africa, Pioneer Food is a producer and distributor of food and beverage products. The acquisition will help Pioneer Food in expanding its UK private-label portfolio and utilise its recently upgraded manufacturing capabilities.

The Winebow Group has acquired The Henry Wine Group, based in California, US. Following the acquisition, the two companies will operate as a single entity named The Henry Wine Group.

Based in the US, the acquiring company is an importer and distributor of fine wine and craft spirits.

Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has bought Vifilfell, a Coca-Cola bottling company based in Iceland that operates in the sparkling soft drinks and beer markets with more than 2,300 customer outlets in Iceland. The transaction includes two production sites of Vifilfell.

CCEP was formed in May with the merger of Coca-Cola Enterprises, Coca-Cola Iberian Partners, and Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke.

Bevolution Group has acquired specialty beverage producer Dr Smoothie Brands, which is based in the US. Bevolution Group is part of Highlander Partner, a US-based cold and hot beverage solutions provider.

Dr Smoothie's portfolio includes smoothies and beverage powders, while Bevolution Group produces frozen cocktail mixes, juice products, teas, lemonades, and energy drinks.

Tenth and Blake Beer Company has acquired Hop Valley Brewing Company, based in the US. Tenth and Blake is the craft brewing entity of MillerCoors, a marketer and distributor of beers.

Hop Valley will function as a separate business entity of Tenth and Blake following the acquisition, and its management team will hold an ownership interest and lead the business.
