Latitude Beverage Company has expanded its ready-to-drink (RTD) bottled Mija Sangria portfolio with the launch of Mija White.

The new RTD product contains fruit juices and premium white wine, which is claimed to provide a homemade taste.

The Mija White is produced with lychee, guava, lime, and orange to offer subtle sweetness along with the acidity, aroma, and finish to appeal to the taste of white wine consumers.

Latitude Beverage Company's chief executive officer (CEO) Kevin Mehra said: "The sangria category continues to see steady growth and consumers are now looking for premium products that feature more natural ingredients.

"Mija White is made using high-quality, natural fruit juice, just the way you'd make it at home."

"When we looked at the current availability of premium, white wine sangrias, we saw an opportunity to introduce a product that would stand out in terms of quality, taste, and convenience. Mija White is made using high-quality, natural fruit juice, just the way you'd make it at home."

The company moved into the RTD beverage category with the launch of Mija Sangria in 2015. The brand's portfolio includes gluten free Mija Red, which contains fruits such as pomegranate, açaí, and blood orange.

Both Mija Red and Mija White contain 9.5% alcohol-by-volume (ABV) and are sold in 750ml bottles with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $11.99 across 40 states in the US. The drinks are sold online with direct shipping across the country.
