Kevita has added Blueberry Basil and Roots Beer to its Master Brew Kombucha line.

The company is a US-based manufacturer of fermented probiotic and kombucha beverages. Its Blueberry Basil and Roots Beer are claimed to provide all the benefits of a traditional kombucha brew.

The Blueberry Basil drink is a combination of a floral blueberry taste, with a peppery basil kick. The Roots Beer is a blend of earthy roots, cinnamon, and vanilla.

KeVita claims that each drink contains live probiotics, active cultures, organic acids, and organic caffeine. It is also said to contain 35 calories per 8oz serving.

"KeVita claims that each drink contains live probiotics, active cultures, organic acids, and organic caffeine."

The two new flavours will join KeVita's Master Brew Kombucha’s portfolio of 11 flavours, which includes Ginger, Pineapple Peach, Tart Cherry, Dragonfruit Lemongrass, Citrus, and Raspberry Lemon.

KeVita marketing director Andrew Thomas said: "We know that fans of KeVita, and kombucha drinkers in general, tend to be culinary adventurers.

"We are thrilled to delight these consumers with two unique flavour pairings that reflect some of the most interesting elements of today's food culture."

The two new flavours will be available at the Whole Foods Markets across the US.
