US-based carbonated drink maker Jolt Cola has entered an exclusive distribution deal with online retailer Amazon.

As part of the partnership, Amazon will retail Jolt Cola’s carbonated energy drinks through its site beginning this month.

The new partnership will see product availability in the global market and will be delivered to customers worldwide at $12.99 for a four-pack.

Jolt Cola has created a new custom four-pack for Amazon, featuring original thunderbolt logo and simple striped design that made its debut more than 30 years ago.

Jolt Cola spokesperson Kathryn Lyons said: “We heard our customers around the globe calling out for a cold can of Jolt Cola.

“Snowflake hipsters don’t know how much awesomeness awaits them with their first can of Jolt.”

“The Jolt team worked to put a worldwide distribution deal in place with Amazon as quickly as possible. We’re ramping-up production to meet demand and will have more inventory available in the weeks ahead.”

The beverage company anticipates that the new partnership will enable them to reach more customers in quick time.

Jolt Cola CEO Doug Dixon said: “If we could’ve had Jolt delivered to our front door in 1985, we would have kept going for days. Snowflake hipsters don’t know how much awesomeness awaits them with their first can of Jolt.

“Now they can order it on Amazon and feel the rush of all the sugar and twice the caffeine without wrecking their pour over coffeehouse street cred.”
