Herbal liqueur brand Jägermeister has launched a new bottle design.

Jägermeister is a blend of 56 different herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits.

The bottle has been redesigned four times throughout its 80 years and the new design personifies the quality and history of the signature herbal liqueur.

"The new Jägermeister bottle symbolises the craftsmanship behind our product."

Bottles of all sizes, from the 50ml miniature to the 1.75l will sport the new design in more than 100 countries around the world.

The new design is characterised by a more defined shape, with higher, more squared-off shoulders; a more mature and realistic stag in its natural environment; and a framed label with a reinvented shape.

It is also reported to feature a bold logo type and additional depth and dynamism through fine lines, and new text that provides information on the product and the quality process.

Sidney Frank Importing Company chief executive officer Jeff Popkin said: "The new Jägermeister bottle symbolises the craftsmanship behind our product and strengthens the message around the brand's high-quality standards, while also celebrating its rich past.

"What consumers will see on the new bottle are Jägermeister's values, process and history proudly displayed like never before; for a family-owned company, this design stands as a symbol of the company's never-ending commitment to quality."

The cap of the bottle has also been redesigned and carries the signature of the spirit's founder, Curt Mast, and the year it was founded, 1878.

The bottle height has also been adjusted. The 750ml size is now 9.2in tall and the 1l is 10.5in tall.
