Fermont Brewing has launched a new beer expression, Lush IPA, replacing its first spring seasonal 77 Select.

The new drink is available as a straight-up draft, a citra-infusion, a mosaic-infusion, and a cask variety.

Lush IPA is made of malts, along with citra and mosaic hops that impart aroma, reported brewbound.com.

"We’ve worked on this recipe for several years and offer our thanks to the folks in Bellingham and Oregon for their feedback."

Fremont Brewing chief executive officer Matt Lincecum was quoted by the website as saying: “Lush is the beer we want to drink after the holidays, bright and tropical, but still strong enough to see us through the ski or snowboard season that lays ahead.

“We’ve worked on this recipe for several years and offer our thanks to the folks in Bellingham and Oregon for the feedback on this beer during our research and development to bring Lush to life.”

The brewing company initially launched the expression at its Urban Beer Garden in Seattle, the US. It intends to further expand its distribution across other regions, such as Portland, Bellingham, Tacoma, and Spokane.

Founded in 2009, Fremont Brewing offers artisan beers developed with local ingredients. The company provides beers in kegs, cans, and 22oz bottles.
