Deals this week: Yantai Changyu Pioneer Wine Company, Jamieson Wellness
Yantai Changyu Pioneer Wine Company has reached an agreement to acquire three of Bethia’s vineyards in Chile to enhance its presence in Latin America.
The transaction is valued at more than $50m.
Yantai Changyu is a wine producer based in China, while Bethia is a Chilean company.
Jamieson Wellness intends to raise funds through an initial public offering (IPO) of common shares.
The company is a Canadian sports nutrition products manufacturer.
BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets have been appointed as joint book-runners for the offering.
The company has already filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities regarding the same.
