The Litchfield Fund, a family-owned and operated investment firm, has added an organic coconut smoothie brand named Genius to its portfolio by investing an undisclosed amount in the California-based company.

Prepared by blending coconut water and coconut meat, the drink is available in coffee and vanilla protein, as well as from its original flavour.

Tonic company, East Imperial, has signed an agreement to grant 10°C distribution rights of its full portfolio in the UK.

Archer Daniels Midland Company has issued ten-year senior unsecured notes in a public offering to raise $1bn. The offering is expected to be completed on 11 August.

The notes bear an interest rate of 2.5% a year, payable semi-annually.  

Graphic Packaging International, has placed senior notes due 2024 in a public offering to raise $300m in a transaction that is expected to be closed on 11 August.

Graphic Packaging International, a packaging solution provider to beverage and consumer product companies, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Company.

The notes have an interest of 4.125% a year, payable semi annually, and will be guaranteed by Graphic Packaging Holding Company as well as by some of the company’s material domestic subsidiaries.

Gravity Solutions Global Pte will acquire the bioactives and ingredient intellectual property of Australia’s The Food Revolution Group, a food and beverage processing company.

The Singapore-based food ingredients producer and distributor will acquire the property for a consideration of A$1.725m ($1.31m).

Following the transaction, Gravity Solutions will lease the LTC assets and the Victoria plant of Food Revolution Group for a period of ten years at a rate of A$1m ($0.76m) and A$0.2m ($0.15m) a year, respectively.
