US-based Cupcake Vineyards has expanded its single-serve, portable wines portfolio with the release of its Moscato d’Asti in 187ml bottles.

Moscato d’Asti has been produced with grapes grown in the hillside vineyards of Asti, Italy. This wine provides flavours of nectarine, honey, and peach.

Cupcake Vineyards' winemaker Jessica Tomei said: “The Cupcake Vineyards Moscato d’Asti from Italy is refreshing with the perfect amount of balanced sweetness.

“Personally, the portability of the 187ml bottles has been a hit with my friends, making this format the right size for small everyday celebrations.

"Premium wine in the 187ml size is growing eight times faster than the wine category."

Moscato d’Asti is retailed across the US for a suggested price of $4.99 for a single bottle and $14.99 for a pack of three bottles.

Cupcake Vineyards' marketing director Kim Fabbri said: “Premium wine in the 187ml size is growing eight times faster than the wine category.

“Our consumers have been clamouring for the Moscato d’Asti in the single-serve format, so we’re excited to share this fun grab-n-go wine with them.”

Established in 2008, Cupcake Vineyards includes a portfolio of wines produced from grapes sourced from Argentina, Italy, and New Zealand.
