"Coca-Cola is committed to investing in the Saudi market."

“Our commitment is aligned with the kingdom’s Vision 2030 to build a strong and solid economy, and ensure the growth of the retail sector while creating job opportunities for youth.”

The new plant will comprise two production lines, for soft drinks and bottled water.

Coca-Cola claimed that this new plant, once operational, will create 200 jobs, reported arabianbusiness.com.

The company selected Sudair City to build the plant due to its proximity to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

Further, the city is a manufacturing hub and is well connected through rails and roads.
