Coca-Cola Amatil has introduced canned, flavoured beer Miller Chill in Australia.

Miller Chill contains 4% alcohol by volume (ABV) and is claimed to have 25% fewer carbohydrates compared to other flavoured beer products.

Miller Chill trade marketing manager Brigitte Kedicioglu said: “Australia is Miller Chill’s major global market and the brand continues to perform strongly.

“Both the flavoured and low-carb beer segments of the market are growing strongly (15% and 5% respectively) and consumers are telling us that refreshment is one of the main drivers in their decision-making.”

The flavoured beer is claimed to be brewed with limes to offer a unique taste and a clean, crisp, and refreshing finish.

It will be available in packs of ten 330ml cans across Australia.

Miller Chill and Miller Genuine Draft have been part of Coca-Cola Amatil's portfolio since October last year. The two brands joined global manufacturer and distributor of ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages Coca-Cola Amatil's portfolio as a result of a long-term agreement signed between Amatil and Molson Coors International (MCI).

Coca-Cola Amatil and MCI became brand partners in 2013 after Amatil made its re-entry in to the beer market.

Coca-Cola Amatil is an authorised manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola beverage brands in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Samoa.
