US-based manufacturer of spirits Beam Suntory has expanded the Jim Beam's flavoured whiskey portfolio with the addition of Jim Beam Vanilla.

The new product is a balance of Madagascar vanilla bean with hints of oak and caramel bourbon notes, offering a sweet vanilla aroma and golden brown colour.

Jim Beam master distiller Fred Noe said: "Jim Beam pioneered flavours in the bourbon category several years ago and the trend has continued to grow. We are always innovating, and are proud to offer a variety of flavours in our portfolio.

"Of course, our newest is Jim Beam Vanilla, with a rich and smooth profile. But don't just take my word for it, sit back and enjoy a sip."

"Jim Beam Vanilla will be retailed for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $15.99 for 750ml."

Bottled at 70-proof, with 35% alcohol-by-volume (ABV), Jim Beam Vanilla will be retailed for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $15.99 for 750ml. It will also be available in bars and retail locations across the US.

Jim Beam Vanilla will now be part of a flavoured whiskey portfolio that includes Jim Beam Apple, Jim Beam Kentucky Fire, Jim Beam Honey, and Red Stag by Jim Beam Black Cherry.

The company launched of Jim Beam Apple in 2015.
