Nestlé has expanded its Azera coffee range in the UK and Ireland to include a new variant that is packaged in a nitrogen-infused can.

Featuring Americano and Latte flavours, the new drink will be available for retailers later this month.

It is claimed that the nitrogen-infused can provides a smooth and creamy taste.

The Azera Nitro Americano is a refreshing and smooth black coffee, while the Nitro Latte is a milky drink with coffee that is claimed to have a creamier taste.

“Non-alcoholic beverage options are increasingly important for the UK and Irish consumer, especially younger generations.”

Nestlé Beverages UK and Ireland managing director Neil Stephens said: “This is a really exciting launch and promises to bring our premium Nescafé Azera brand to the forefront of the fast-growing chilled coffee segment.

“In the year when we are celebrating the 80th Birthday of Nescafé, the launch of Nescafé Azera Nitro shows how our business is continually innovating and evolving with the times.”

Apart from retail, the Americano will be available on tap in bars, pubs and restaurants across the hospitality sector.
