Amazon.com has entered an agreement to acquire Ring for $1bn.

Based in the US, Ring manufactures video cameras, doorbells and smart home technologies, while Amazon is an online retailer and web services provider.

The acquisition will enable Amazon to expand its footprint in the consumer market by offering security for package deliveries.

Shinkawa has entered an agreement to acquire seven thousand shares, representing an 100% stake in Pioneer FA Corporation from Pioneer Corporation for CNY2.13bn ($19.92m).

Based in Japan, Shinkawa is involved in the development and designing of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

The transaction will enable Shinkawa to deliver pre and post-process solutions, as well as improve its semiconductor bonding technology business platform.

Goliath Games has completed an acquisition of Britz Marketing Australasia for an undisclosed sum.

Based in the US, Goliath manufactures and distributes toys and games, while Britz is a toys manufacturer and distributor based in Australia.

The transaction will enable Goliath to expand its footprint and progress its business.

TSC No 2 has entered an agreement to acquire The Service Company from New Zealand Vacuum Cleaner Company for NZD1.3m ($0.95m).

Based in New Zealand, The Service Company is involved in supplying cleaning products.

The transaction is expected to be closed on 31 March 2018.
